- Taber's Newsagents stocks every skate mag and all the decent music stuff
- Martins. Mary has very nice nails (and I keep telling her). But if your after a quiet read of the Mags, forget it as you will be devoured by the scrum trying to get to the Post Office Counter.
- Mrs Knee's on the corner of London Road/South Road is good for out of date food, rip-off prices & Waz-mags, but she is shutting up shop in the near future due to retirement. Developers wan't to turn it into residential housing, but hundreds of Sir John Leman students will suffer catastrophically as there will be nowhere to shoplift from for at least a mile.
