Skateboarding Spots
  • Skatepark on Common Lane Hammers set of eight - come into the shop to find out where it is if you're worthy!! They've just built a Tesco and stuck some lovely concrete curved benches right outside - will they ever learn?!
  • The big church in the centre of town is pretty kick ass has a three set, hip and wall with two foot drop (Have to push loads cos of shit surface). Across the road the bookshop's ledge can be skated if you watch out for the dents. The walls at the westgate shop near church can be ollied. In Town there are to three sets out side HSBC and Lloyd's, semi circle, flatground with black strips, benches outside Kings head if you stay up late enough and the benches out side Lloyd's can be stalled. Taylor's electrical has a set of steps with nice landing round back of shop. Best pallets can be found at Clowes round back, ask someone and they will give you one of the reject pallets. Rainbow has steps, rails, hips, bins, walls and flatground. Car park near "perfect pasties" has nice manual pad style island things where parking machines are.
  • The Leman has some kick ass benches that can be lined up with other stuff like bins to make gaps and interesting noseslides down two set. Also there is a two set, flatbanks near tech blocks, ledges near the gym and E8, walls in main courtyard, big ledges round front near hall can be used as manual pads, when waxed well the steps near the hall are good for grinds (best to wax in summer, school gets rid of it during school time) and the blue benches can be used for grinds.
  • Beccles is shit-obviously, but if like i did u happen to have to be there check out the Leman high school for the dope blue benches! Also we're getting a shit0hot park next spring, all concretey and carlsbad in style but maybe with a bowl!
  • Current official skateboard place is in the pedestrian area by the Kings Head, especially during the day when normal people are trying to get on with their lives without being taken out by a squadron of uncouth youths on their boards!!
  • The local Ashman's Road skateboarders are at it all hours, so expect an announcement in the Beccles & Bungay Journal's obituaries in the near future...
  • Ashman's Road seems to be a popular place for Skateboarding. Please make an appearance in Ashman's Road, & "Bernard" will fill you in with the details.
  • Out the back of Rainbow. Lots of pallets to use & a few steps.
