Cinemas
- Its quite a mixed place. From the afformentioned "yuppies" to the armies of elderly people that swarm the parks in the summer! Given the location of beckenham its no supprise that it attracts alot of what the local paper calls "yobs" from surrounding areas. The alternative scene here seems non existent at times which is somewhat depressing but given the towns close proximity to London issues like that are negligible. 'Chavs' are plentiful and so are "beckenham girls" a term coined for the girls in ugg boots and orange make up that congregate in the flashy wine bars every weekend!
- nice cinema with 6 screens, but dont go in the day because it is full of kids birthday party groups.
- Odeon.
- the new odean isn't too bad if you get the main screen (1). Get a seat at the back though, its usually filled with pre-pubescent pikes who have no quams with chucking stuff at you. if your the kind of person who enjoys beating the hell out of these people, then be my guest.
- odeon is panties... go to bluewater- much cleaner, less bazzers/neds/pikeys/darrens/nike kids
- Odeon Cinema (- Nice, now that the old ABC has been taken over and newly-refurbished by Odeon)
