- theres a DJ store in croydon up the road from the bus/tram station which sells all the usual mixers and decks as well as cabling etc. theres a few real instrument shops around that are but nothing to special
- there is fabulous little music shop in Farnborough Village just off the A21 near Orpington. It's called Malcolm Tysoe Musical Instruments and specialises in stringed instruments (violins etc) but also does lots of other stuff like guitars and classical instruments. Very helpful staff and a good selection of sheet music too.

- nearest is in bromley - Reids, just off the high street past the cinema
