Live Music Venues
- We used to have a nice venue in the form of a 19th century building called, appropriately 'the studio'. It had recording space as well as performance rooms and stages. It was closed down due to excessive people, noise and complaints! The Brixton academy is 4 or 5 stops on the train from beckenham junction which makes that journey pretty easy. Theres also an alternative club/bar in croydon which has different nights throughout the week including a metal night, a drumb n bass night and various indie nights.
- some bands play at churches in beckenham but most of the gigs go down in croydon at the cartoon club, which is easy to get to cos of the tram
- Studio, available for gigs & parties, as well as live music sessions some evenings..
- the hop house, maple road, penge, every 2nd and 4th thursday of the month. i.e the next one is on rd of october 2003
- only place is the studio next to the beckenham spa.
