You can tell us more about Bedford.
Cinemas
- One, Cineworld. Would (and do) travel miles to avoid it. Seats are poorly tiered, everything REEKS of sweat and vinegar and coke flows freely and stickily down underneath your feet. My recommendation would be the cinema in MK or Stevenage for a much more pleasant atmosphere.
- Cineworld, that's it. As good as the next towns version of a multiplex!
- i wish bedford cinema would go back advertising 'what movies are showing' on that big plastic, white, illuminated board outside, as opposed to just their phone number
- The Cinema in Bedofrd at the Aspects park well. It has changed hands so many times, I think they should close it down and start again. There is a much better one in Milton Keynes which is a 20min drive. Its new in the Snowdome and the same price. The seating is teered so you are not having the stretch your neck unlike in Bedford.
- Aspects Leisure Park - cinema has changed hands more times than I care to remember. A criminally crummy hotdog containing 25% meat (vole meat) will cost you about 4 quid and the astronomically-priced, watered-down Coke is served in a half-full bucket-sized cup filled mainly with ice. They know shit-all about films and once advertised the new film from 'Kevin Brannagh'.
- The one in Aspects. It changes hands so much, god knows what it is. Hideously average. Don't meet up with your girlfriend there, some chav will ruin your fun!
- milton keynes. snow dome is the best, way better that aspects which is getting run down now only cinema and pizza hut there. if u wanna hav a gud nite then travel to mk and spend all nite there theres lots to do.
- ugc where all the chavs hang out racig lowered saxos
- The cinema isn't bad inside. Your feet will get stuck to the floor and you'll queue for a decade if a big film is out. Expensive beverages and unfortunately only films people might have heard of are played. Some might say rubbish...
- UGC, only one in bedford.
- aspects..............meh its ok for a night out wit ya mates bit to many rudies tho
- Cinema at Aspects is now UGC, though still crap as ever - Aspects in general is a dump. Probably recommended to visit the various cinemas Milton Keynes has to offer, or if your tastes are further broadened, there is a good arts cinema 30 miles down the road in Cambridge.
- the cinema at aspects is crap the onli time i go there is wen im not intrested in the film just who im watchin it with, soooo much better to get the bus to mk.
- Full of students who work there an a handful of skaters.Idea to make friends with them cos they can get you into a film for free. They get 4 free tickets every night! Or get to go to staff previews!
- Bedford cinema mings. End of. Make friends with someone who has a car and go to the phat one under the sno-slope in Milton Keynes. In the Aspects leisure centre where the Bedford Cinema lives ther is also a lazer quest thing, and a bowling alley, along with Enigma nightclub and a few restaurants. But they're all hanging so run like hell!!
- Urm, the one in Aspex is ok, however, I tend to go to the new big one in Milton Keynes to be honest, cheep night is Tuesday I think, and its got loads more screens and its got more comfy chairs!
- Got mega bowl,Mc donalds, cinema and night club in same bit. Its aight bedford.
- Small and pokey but it provides the local care in the community patients a job.
- the nacho cheese at bedford cinema is always cold and globby if you go to the first showing. gross.
- just the usual really
- Pure Tiny, Pure dear and pure far from the car park on a cold night.
- why the hell does anyone go anywhere near the UCG. all the rude boys hang out up there and pick fights with anyone they see because they cant get into ENIGMA.
- My brother got mugged outside the laser quasar arcade thing opposite the cinema. He was only about 12 and it was 3pm in the afternoon. What is wrong with people ?
- The multiplex thing changes owners every few months and has the worst selection of Hollywood dross you could hope to find.
- Virgin is now UCG & is too expensive & shit. Aspects is full of losers that hang around. Enigmas here though & you can usually distingwish between the losers & the quewers!
- small, outdated,overpriced,let's cater for kids only,maybe 1 in 10 good films
shown(if lucky!!!)
- There is a Virgin Cinema, which does student discounts on weekdays. It has some really good films on there, but they only ever seem to be shown for a tiny amount of time, so hurry if you want to see that blockbuster!!
- For your mainstream entertainment needs, Aspects Leisure is the place to go as the cinema,Zap Zone,Mucluskys Bar,Mega Bowl,Enigma night club, blah blah blah. The Cinema is large but nothing impressive.Good when you 'aint got nothing else to do.
- I've heard that the manager of the local Virgin cinema is a fanatical baptist. (The cinema he's joined is rather aptly named, then). That's why you're more likely to see the Flintstones than any 'unChristian' films, ie, Crash, Man bites Dog, etc. Crash is crap, by the way.
