Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • Don Millers by the bus station does really good tea and excellent hot chocolate. The lady in there is extremely friendly, they have a super loyalty card and you can grab a drink just before you dash off for the X5, or bus [various] of your choice. On top of all this, it's at least half the price of nearby Costa's. The only trade-off is that Don Miller's has little to no seating and consequently lacks the coffee shop atmosphere. Depends if you're after the feeling or the commodities!
  • Too many to mention.
  • bedford robinson swimming pool a lovely cafe to while away a hour with a coffee, nice pleasent staff, cheap, (not the staff!)... you could also go for swim after perhaps on impulse, if you felt like it. (if you forgot to put your trunks in your wallet, just go in ya pants... no one would notice or even care.. probably.
  • Crema Coffee on the High Street, sells costa Cofee, it is nice in there wish it was bigger.
  • LOTS. Harbur Coffee Co. Caffe Crema. Portiolli's.

They are the busiest cafe in bedford and always welcome you with a smile, unlike many other cafes. They will always try to please by cooking anything you want. WE LOVE CAFE BLISS!!!!!
  • Not generally that good in bedford, but try out the internet cafe next to Andy's records, or the wetherspoons pub on the high street for cheap coffees. I think they let under 18's in before 7...
  • Still the Piazza, it's a town centre thing!
  • Cafe Bliss is by far the most cosmo and lush place to lunch...in the summer you can sit outside, it's great for people watching, and the staff are always really cool if you take kids in there.
