- There is a comic shop in Clare Court.
- Four which really do it for you. Newsfayre on the junction of St Peters Street and the High Street which rules on the low budget joke thingy market. The Chocolate Box on the junction of St Peters street and the St Cuthberts Street rules for cheap and cool sweets they got em all, but this shop is right next to my old boarding school, so from 11:25 to 11:45, break time in the morning its pretty packed. Turveys, down on Castle Road is open all the time and stocks cool videos, and Cut Price in the Arcade sells really cheap fags.
- Sam, the owner of the aforementioned Newsfayre newsagent is a top lad, typicall of the Bedford town spirit!
