- sitting down on the grass bank at beeston weir on a hot, sunny summers day listening to the sounds of the crashing water go by. its unbelievable how much it can relax you.
- Spectacular range of Charity Shops (soon to be enhanced when Tescos moves into town).
- The fact that Beeston stands for Brilliant Evergreen Environmentally Sound Town of Nottinghamshire.
- skating, mates, commercial inn, wetherspoons, second hand bookshops.
- the best thing about beeston? the fact that it is splendidly far away from other towns of ill repute. i wont mention places like bulwell or hucknall or st anns. but im sure u know what i mean.
- Beeston Marina is a place to hang out for all ages. You have the river and the wier,the nature reserve, and miles and miles to walk, ramble or cycle.
- Plenty of parking, shops, pubs and people. It's also got its own bus station which makes getting to and from Nottingham (and Derby if you so wish) dead easy.
- It is quite nice sometimes, and not far from the bright lights of Nottingham, which is (usually) a great place to be.
