• Any street corner that isn't knee deep in blood or puke on a Saturday night.
• Glad to see that the original Ko Door Rangers were remembered by someone as we had a nice wee group including John Hay, Eddie Mercer, Big Rab Wilson and myself, Ross Wilson. Many tales could be told of the 'Big Hoose' up the Barrmill Road but we better not go into that.
• The Legendary Barrier is really the high point of beith. Located just after the Manorhead sign, this focal point has become the meeting place for youths and a popular drive-by spot for the much envied "boy racers".
• The Mount, slappers and neds hang out here! ;o)
• Bet everyone in the sixties remembers the co-door big Ross and all us other silly buggers that had nothing else do but watch life, as we saw it, go by.
• The Mount. A monolith which has a strange magnetic attraction for neds.
• The only thing better than watching the locals spew up their guts after a night oot at the local tavern, is going to a wee town up the road called Barrmill, where all the locals are fully fledged equity card holders and appeared in the movie 'Deliverance'. Banjo playing, sleeping with their brother, backwards Barmillians. I wouldn't let an unneutered dog down there, especially by the garages..........
• local techno-toilet and telephone box both within easy walking distance, post office,coop checkout queues. pee pee soaked heck hut cunningly disguised as a bus stop. the ice cream van.
• The local town phone box outside the Bellman's Pub. It never has windows, always has plenty of drunk young girls and is never safe to vist.
