• Avoid Chick o land. there food is contaminated with cat aids
• New resturant in Bideford Hign St. corner of Grenville St opened whre you can take your own wine and they just charge corkage. Apparently they also charge £1.50 venuce hire per person if you stay more than an hour and a half. Worth remembering!
• Happy Pasty, Danny's, Tavern in the Port, Billy Buns on the Quay, and Mr Chips!
• Happy Pasty on Allhalland st - keep you going for DAYS
• Meddon Street chippy.... probabley the best chippy......in the world! Fruit machines a bit fucking tight though!!

• I tried a pasty from HAPPY PASTY on Allhalland St and I have to say it was the best I have had - anywhere! Not only do they do traditional fillings but others such as Lamb & Mint, Steak & Stilton, Bacon & Leek plus several veggie options. I think the people who own it have not been there too long but they seem to have turned it into the best pasty shop in town.

• Just wimpy and Chiko Land for you greasy pissed food session, oh and Alis or something.
• Most pubs serve great food. The Heavitree is excellent! Tavern aint bad eithere! Do not EVER go to PIZZA PRONTO! The guy who runs the place (Rob, I think his name is) is a complete idiot! Also, there was a bad case of food poisoning a while back.
• Happy Pasty Allhalland Street, probably the best fast food shop in North Devon, if its not on the menu, just ask and they will provide
• Spicey Spice is always a good place to go after Ceasers. However, if you dont like sinemon please tell them not to do their thing of sneaking it in. They dont seem to understand that when you order chips, you mean chips with no sinemon. I fully recommend the chip with cheeze, especially if your female as they put twice the amout on in bitg fucking chunks!!! Just batter your eye lids and work your stuff. Tell you the truth...it dont take muck. Note that all the people that work there pick on the tall one whos a bit goofy!!!!
• Bideford just like every other Devon & Cornish town has its fair share of PASTY makers,but what makes BIDEFORD stand out is the fact that the Pasties made in a certain little shop are hand made by a family from Leicester, Next time you are passing through, stop off at BLACKWELLS PASTIES at the bottom of Meddon street.
• The Tavern In The Port where good food costs less
• Bideford is also known as "china town" due to the abonormally large amount of Chinease take-aways Ali's Charcoal Grill- severs the finest kebab that can be purchased in the Western World.
• Try chicoland on the quay,nice creamy mayo!!
• If you want the best Cornish pasties around then you can get them at Blackwells. Best eaten as you exit the shop, but they are regularly exported to an ex Bidefordian now residing in Balsham,Cambridge.
• Bideford has a lack of 'fast food' places with a Wimpy on the quayside, but there are plenty of pubs where you can eat and drink. The majority of these places are along the quayside which is really the centre of the town.
• What about that top place Pizza Pronto at the end of Mill Street, just up from the Seasons, or the Chinese takeaway on the Quay which isn't so bad according to my sister.
