The Worst Things in Bideford, Devon*
The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it
You can tell us more about Bideford.
The Worst Things
- The Police
Corrupted Council workers (Esp Myrna Bushell)
- Chavs who get relocated to this gorgeous little part of Devon and cause trouble
- some people are a little rough especially at a certain estate up east the water
- locals can't afford to live here coz rich londoners buys everywhere that nice to live
- Noisy and Unruly Youths that cannot hold their drink. They let the Town down. Never mind, they will grow up one day.
- The river- watchout for the "yellow foam" at high tide, one of the few bodies of water where any one an literally "walk on water" a murky soup of every chemical known to man, a pity none of it sterilises the populance, anything to stem the tide of young mothers and mellon head spawn
the town- a typical town in decline, miserable grey streets, very few shops, the ones there are are over priced for the tourists, if you really want a laugh go to the "ATLANTIC VILLAGE" shopping centre outside of the town, a new facility with time and money spent on it, but really how many cut-priced designer clothes shops do you need, if they get a bit of variety it might be worth a visit
the people- scum springs to mind, there are a few good people, but the general population seems to be made up of a healthy mixture of loud obnoxious chavs tarts and sports fans, but maybe im out of touch with the world, in which case "the people" may belong in the best bits about Bideford section
- Big fish in small pond mentality among some locals (think they've travelled if they've been as far as South Molton). Desperate lack of quality employment, local kids face a future in the hotel trade or a dodgy, underpaying factory and so many move away, only to be replaced by people from outside the area who buy nice houses and then only live in them for two months of the year. And then the pensioners, God bless'em.
- HEROINE FREE MASONS PRICEY CHARITY SHOPS
- The worst thing about Bideford, without a doubt, is the dogpiles everywhere, and the sorry lack of bins to put the stuff in.
- Parking in town, traffic wardens, the twat who scratched my car last week.
- The new carbuncle of a 'quay' too modern and not inkeeping with the town
- or the people who move down from up country and then fink they own the place- all i say to you is "f#@k off back to where you came from u moaning b#@%&£+s"
- The lack of activities for youngsters, hence why they go around making a nuisance
- Most of the roads haven't been re-surfaced since the late Victorian era, full of brats smoking and drinking and boy racers after 10 on a weekend.
The best shop in Bideford is probably Safeways - that's how bad it is. Only others of note are woolworths and boots (ooooh, and £-stretcher & chopes!).
- See above, and too many others to mention.
- Also the Rugby boys! They are sweet but can be a bit aggro!
- Pizza Pronto - Pizza Hut in Barnstaple is much better! Caesar's is also full of youngsters who are annoying too.
- Bideford is the capital of the Single Mother.
- ben clemance is stupid
- Every thing
- Poeple that hang out on jubillee square at night are the worst things. They are usually 15 and below and think they are so cool. They like to take their bikes there and just sit on them thinking that there it...WELL YOUR NOT!!!
- Boy racers, pissed townies, far too many insane people and paranoid old people.
- 1. Full of violent psycopaths who want to beat people up on Friday nights.
2. There are 4 secondary schools, 3 of which are private. The private school kids don't associate themselves with the comp kids.
Absolutely outrageous. I was treated as a second rate citizen in Bideford most of the time.
- Public transport - particularly evenings, weekends and Sunday/Bank holidays
- Kappa Tracksuits are invading from outside!!!!!
- plug-ugly birds
- The total lack of a decent cinema or any decent buses to get to Barnstaple has to be right at the bottom of the list, but not far below the fact that it's so cut off from the rest of the country - 40 miles from the M5. It's just too far round the corner and out of the way for anyone to want to go there!!
