Cheap Food
- Pizza Hot The latest fraudulent money laundering turks! Has started an exodus of Pizza Town! Banging kebabs, square pizza and i must mention the Big Jim cheeseburger... 3 of your finest beef pates! The Viceroy... lovely food personally i recommend a Lamb Madras!! Watch out for the illegall immigrants! The Bearded man in the Mogul. His food is to a standard of which i think a starving african would tell him to suck my balls!
- harleys bakery on shortmead street. HEAVY
- The Yorkshire Grey (hungary horse) dont know if youd call it decent though.
McDonalds at Baldock services on the A1
- Your review says that La Cachette is the ebst french restaurant for miles - and I should know as I am french. Well, the reviewer should go back again, as owners haev changed. We went there, first time for 4 years and it is not a patch on what it used to be. You'd hardly think it was a french restaurant. This place used to be booked up for weeks ahead, yet know it is easy to get a table anytime. On Sat night it was half full. Think that says it all, I am afarid to say. Only diffrence is the prices, which have gone up. Our guests were amazed when a fork from the sweet trolley fell onto the floor and was then put back on to the sweets. Not good.
- Beego's do a great sausage and egg bap, Biggles: best 'sit down' Curry. Jade Garden: best set meal 'D'
- has to be beegos!
- Beego's sandwich bar in the old Book shop hand rules supreme in the town, the best rolls, baps, sandwiches, cakes and jacket spuds available.
UK Fried Chicken good if you eating food that has a high chance of killing you -special deal is the Chicken Mc Jay-Cloth burger, nasty....
Pizzatown slightly better (just) they do some high quality chips though it takes them a week to cook them.
Johnny's Plaice, Codfather and Frydays are all pretty good Fish & Chip shops.
- La Cachette is the best French restaurant for many miles, and I should know - I've lived in France for a number of years and have a property there.
- take-aways r the best, pizza town, uk fried chicken n pizza, codfathers, johnnys place, there are loadz
- Somewhere Nice, cute little cafe opposite poundstretcher's.
- Loads of places to get junk food, chinese and indian. Best fish and chip shop is The Codfather at the far end of the high street. Jonnie's Plaice used to be good too, but since it moved premises I reckon it's gone a bit downhill. Pizzatown is also great as they deliver, which means you don't actually have to venture into the town at all, which is a bonus! Best chinese food for a sit-down meal is the Peking Diner, what it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in taste and also the massive fish in the tank! But if you are up for a wilder night go to The Jade Garden instead. Biggles Tandori does a fine Ruby, and the staff are dead, dead friendly.
- uk fried chicken, and pizza town, they are open most hours for yummy food.
- The best take away in the Biggleswade would have to be Pizza Town and thats why they are always the busy ones every nite!
- The best restaurant in town is La Cachette in Hitchin Street - a truly superb French restaurant. As someone who has lived in France twice and has a property there, I can say with confidence that it is the best French restaurant that I've ever encountered outside of France.
- Pity Leo's closed down. Nothing better after a night on the piss!
- biggles tandoori a good freindly service by muckers and a bargain buffet on a sunday
- JADE GARDEN IS GOOD AFTER A SESSION UP THE PUB. SPEEK TO PETE OR SUPER JAKE
AND IF YOU AND YOUR MATES ALL STICK £10 IN EACH YOU GET TOO MUCH TO POSSIBLY EAT
- Yorkshire Gray Pub - Okay food ( you get what you pay for )
- UK FRIED CHICKEN YUMYUM WELL WHEN YOUR PISSED ANYWAY
- Get Jem to fry you up an all-day brekie in The White Hart. He's always
willing to slave over a hot stove for his customers and they're the best
chips in the area. Make sure he doesn't leave yer egg off though.
