Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition. Both held on the evening of Saturday 2nd August 2008. To take part in the ProAm competition it will be necessary to be at the venue at 1830 on the Saturday evening. I am trying to find this mid 40 ish lady who i saw last at Gt Yarmouth in the late 1970's whilst on holiday at South Deanes caravan site. All i can remember is that she has a younger sister and her father was in RAF. They also had a green old fashioned car but cant remember the make or model. I have been researching my Family History which has taken me to the Villages of Northill, Old Warden, Cotton End in the Biggleswade District. They were at Newton Bury Farm pre-war if I remember correctly. There's nothing left of the old farm now, but you may find some info in Dunton. Regards Rob. My family lived in Cow Fair Lands in Biggleswade in the 19th century. Does anyone know where that may have been situated in relation to the current layout of the town? This is the site of some old Farms and plenty of Cow fields and was probably the site of Cow Fair Lands. Reply
