• The Chequers pub, but does anyone remember what Cottis's the bakers was like before someone had the bright idea to rip out the front and replace it with plate glass windows?

• The old Quaker house past Billericay School on the way in to town - too cute!

• Some of the houses down norsey drive are fabulous, but most of the buildings in billericay are nothing to shout home about!
• The Kings Head pub is a very old building with stacks of character, all original beams are there on show and the decor is well within keeping with the history' all together a nice site.

• Those that are in the High Street and around the main core of Billericay that are OLD and I mean really old like The Cater Museum and Belfontaines. Well done to the people who keep them nice!!!

• I think the Cafe Uno building is lovely - shame it's owned by Cafe Uno and painted yellow
• The Chantry. My granddad was part owner of this in the 1960s and he reckoned that there was a secret passage going from there under the High Street to the Church across the road.

• The NEW Billericay School sixth form building. Brillant design, floor boards on the ceiling!!
• The "Cowshed", stand at Billericay Town Football club.
• the fishmongers down chapel street (next to chequers pub) or the cater museum - check out the 2 headed lamb!
• Railway Pub - its the romantic spot where I met my husband playing darts
• The Old Chantry, pity it's an Indian now.
• Perpetually broken phone box near Emmanuel Church.
• My fave building has got to be the ancient florists in Chapel Street by Chequers.
• Hospital - oops it's gone. The Forge/Pickled newt
• The Cafe in the park.
