- The Billingham Folklore Festival is on every year around June/July
- Billingham's the home of Ray Dales, ace sax player (as well as flute and clarinet) Ray's been on the music scene playing with and for some of the biggest names in music across the country. For many years he's played with 'Rivers Blues Band' as well as his own trio and quartet (all still playing to this day) If you want a sax player, he's the best there is.

- Bobby hind(hienzy) & johny(hey man)jackson are aways a good bet 4 ther own tipe of music in the 'fezzy bar'or the pride on most days....
- Local Band of local guys of the mature type are the Suger Bs rythmn and blues and very good well worth a booking
