so is primark (4 the cheap stuff like)
- pyramids shopping centre ,loads of shops ,next,river island, everton fc shop,sports shops ,early learning shop ,nice dinind place in centre of mall,unusual stalls ,loads of shops surrounding pyramids ,you can buy anything u need in birkenhead town centre and good cafes ,restaurants in town,
- liverpool and chester are good and cheshire oaks in ellesmere port 20 mins drive from bhead
- TK-MAXX in Grange Road (next to WH Smiths). Ex-trendy gear, but cheap. Otherwise, Birkenhead Market - though not a patch on its heyday before the fire gutted it on its original site - is still worth a look.
- Not in Birkenhead - used to hit TJ's in Liverpool for mad lycra leggings (one pair of whcih made it onto national TV!) or Quiggins if feeling flush!
- Unless you want to look like the rest of the Birkenhell brigade in your pink tight low cut top with tight white pants and cheap shoes, then you are probably best to stick to what you know and just go in Topshop.
- Birkenhead has improved alot in recent times according to fashion. As everywhere fashion changes quickly and Birkenhead is no exception. The shops cater for all walks of life and the ever changing fashion i.e. a great new and updated shop is New Look. It has moved to a bigger store and is even better.
- Birkenhead Market and the more famous High Street stores in Birkenhead have gone down the nick. There are no longer any fashionable clothes. They think that we all want to wear boring colours or that we are all moshers/goths. It's not fair!! We say get some new lines of fashion quick!!!
- C&A has gone. Replaced by Dorothy Perkins.
- The usual: Army and Navy, Millett's ,C+A, Co-opLiving, etc.
