Live Music Venues in Birkenhead, Merseyside*

Live sounds in a garage, pub, park or stadium

You can tell us more about Birkenhead.

Live Music Venues
  • The Iron Door has now closed down, the Hotel california offers some good music and beer is respectfully priced
  • Hex nightclub and live music venue offering all things alternative. rock, punk, goth, emo, metal, skater, indie, ebm, industrial, techno, etc etc. just about something for everyone! www.hexclub.co.uk
  • The iron door club is an excellent place to see live bands from established local bands to those just starting. A good atmosphere and friendly people, attracts the older person so no need to feel past it at 22!!
  • Pacific road and the 201 club
  • bar 54 is gud for bands but latley its just the same bands its normally vertigo or tequila dont get me wrong they are gud to c a couple of times just not every week. theresa also the beach and the bam buddha lounde which has sum fit bouncers for girls!!!
  • Hotel California - stuck in an odd place near Wickes but at least it's off the radar of the p*ss heads that frequent Argyle Street. Not brilliant for live music, (unless you're a fan of Tribute bands), but despite this, it's still got a really good feel and is a great place to hang out hassle free. The drinks are a bit pricey though, so your cash won't go as far as it should.
  • The Door in Birkenhead or Zanzibar in Liverpool.
  • Iron Door in Birkenhead was cool..Had lots of retro bands...for us oldies!
  • the iron door on argyl street ( just facing rockys)
  • Pacific Road Arts & Exhibition Centre, Pacific Road (off Shore Road), Birkenhead, Merseyside.
  • Avoid that awful Blu bar with its slightly youthful looking girls, and dole-ite lads who sit in there all day with its 99p bottles.(Its worth spending extra to go elsewhere)
  • DOES ANYONE EVER UPDATE THIS THING??!! THE KASBAH/CASBAR CLOSED DOWN YEARS AGO AND THE IRON DOOR IS OPEN NOW AND HAS BEEN FOR OVER A YEAR AND IT IS FUCKIN GREAT!!
  • The Kasbah in Argyle street no longer exists, it is now being refurbished to a venue called the Iron Door which will be much bigger and better. It will open in May (so we anticipate, but we will yet see!)
  • Its obvious you haven't been around for a while as Birkenhead just hosted the 11th International Guitar Festival. The whole town was rocking. And check out the new music venue at Pacific Road..... bet you don't know where that is do you?
  • Guess what! Stop press news. Drome just hit the headlines today for applying for lap dancing nights!!!! And you reckon nothing ever happens here! Loads of clubs in Argyle Street.. and CCTV...I have no problems about being there at night. It feels GOOD!!!
  • A new music venue called the CAZBAR has opened in Argle Stret. They are determind to bring culture to our backwater.
