    rom the stories my dad [Roy] used to tell me, Old Billy Hudson was his best mate at school & I remember him talking about you & some of the other names you mentioned, I remember as a kid that Mrs MCLOUGHLIN living next door to my nan & granddad [Old Amby] & I can always remember them gabbing over the fence in the street.

    I know of a HAYES family living on Hoylake Road,
    Bidston - opposite the Bidston Hotel. Family - mother was Nellie, son Frank, two daughters. Frank
    attended Tollemache Road School and had a short spell at Park High School.

ive been trying to trace my biological grandmother .her second name was banks cant make out her first name on the birth certificate properly it may be anne, she was a machinist in a clothing factory she lived at number 97 harding ave. does anyone remember the banks family would love to find out any information poss hope someone out there can help....

    meeting with adoption team soon he is on the adoption register if his mother applys to be on the register they will put them in touch .i wont give up trying to find her hope shes still alive to be found, any info would be greatly appreciated

Hello all,
Looking for any info on a children's home I was in during the 70s on the Nocturum estate. I was there with my brother Philip. Few names I remember are PAul, Donna and Claire who were sisters. Two friends I was in hillside school with were Andrew Boyle and Robert Giverns. I moved to Wales about 1980. Any info would be great. just trying to remember my past.

Hi I'm jane Williams, I am one of a twin looking for old friends that went to laird st school in 1972,looking for old school class pics, I did also have an older brother there called derek, he was about 8 - 9.I did live in dundonald street and across the rd was a house I used to go to and visit someone called rosie or rose.

Any one rememberjohn Gallagher from willaston we were mates in the swinging sixtees both apprentice bricklayers went to Birkenhead tech day release 1962 to 1965 on weekends went to Liverpool always ended up in the shamrock club always missed the last train home then hitch hiked we new lots of Irish nurses at the time do the same family still live on the Wirral any info welcome
