- Music Zone, Birmingham City Centre near the Carling Academy
- 'Polar Bear' on York Road just off High Street, good selection new & used. Also new 2nd hand book shop opposite on same road, if you walk through to back has CDs, vinyl etc.
- awinging pig-brilliant place met simon fowler from ocs in there once!!!
- polar bear, goodfellows, going for a song/the swinging pig. Best places.
- Polar Bear. Every time. And Lovely Jon (who is in Dean-from-Big-Brother's band) works there. Go and say hi to him.
- If you've got no money, or taste, you are home in the shopping world of Kings Heath. There is a multiplicity of pound shops, charity shops and of course alot of crap 'womens fashion' stores. Beware, just because it's better than the shop next door, doesn't mean it's a good shop- don't be fooled, this is the controlling institution we call Kings Heath.
- The well hidden Flipside shop , neatly tucked away between two chemists ,beside oblivion, we think it still trades, and good ole, but expensive woolies, and ASDA, yes nowadays even in Ashington they sell more than just food.
- Goodfella's, High Street (towards the Library end, the High Street is quite long!).
