You can tell us more about Blackheath.

Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • The Coffee Tree is excellent value for money. Can be found opposite the market. Run by two real great friendly guys. Treat yourself to a coffee at the Coffee Tree
  • The Coffee Tree's OK. Reasonably priced, friendly service and opposite the market.
  • Cheswicks Coffee lounge on Bassano Road. Quite recently open, with a clean bright ambience. Best for quiet discreet morning or afternoon breaks. Food, drinks reasonable prices and quality, service brisk and efficient rather than matey and eccentric (Blue Moon Cafe springs to mind). However not recommended to anyone over 6ft 3in.
  • Blue Moon Cafe on the High Street is good value. The owner is the most raucously jolly man I've ever known behind a cafe counter, cheerfully insulting his clientele who respond to him as though he was a social club comic. Often had many an entertaining half hour in here.
  • Go and buy a coffee from the machine in Brookfleet Taxi base and play on the bandits until the miserable git of an operator throws you out into the cold.
  • quite a few old deary type sam n ellas.
  • The Daily Bread in High Street- best breakfasts and porky sandwich dude by the Cally
  • There is loads dotted around the place but they are usually filld with old biddies and truc drivers!
  • there are a lot of cafes and coffee shops dotted around everywhere! Blackheath is well known for it's roast pork sandwiches that you can buy from a street seller
