- hawley common is nearby.
- Its only 30 miles from London, camberley town centre ihas some reasonable shops and facilitites, and yet another shopping centre is being built including a decent bowling ally (in addition to the 6 lane one on camberleys heatherside estate (why is it on an estate?!?), 12 screen cinema, more night clubs and some other good stuff.

- Bridge Memorial Club - at least there's some life and entertainment.
- Its close to decent places. Reading is 12 miles away, Woking is 10, Guildford is 12, Staines is 12, Bracknell is 6 (but you'd have to be desperate), Slough and Windsor are 12, London is 30, and Camberely town centre is just over 1. Avoid Farnborough and Aldershit cos they are full of pikeys and squaddies (Farnboroughs crap anyway).
- One has to thing very hard and long before coming up with something positive to say about Blackwater. The sub-village Frogmore is, on the whole, very pleasant (brand new village hall, good little pub, village green etc), however, Blackwater itself has little to offer except a nice, straight road out of town(usually massively congested at anytime between 8.00am and 8.00pm).
