Cheap Food
- Jerry's till i die.
- The Ottoman does great sit-down meals in the restaurant and the takeaway's not half bad either, especially after ten pints down Nelsons.
The cafe down Barnack Walk does fantastic pizzas, they make the dough. They're loads better than the Vecchia Roma.
Il Quatro Gatti has opened at the site of the old Gallery Bistro and the food's great! Authentic Italian crazy people run it. The walls are blood-red and last time we were there the music sounded just like it was out of Final Fantasy.
- A short trip out of town towards Stur Marshall will guarantee you a fine dining experience at Mr Greedys layby diner. Look out for lots of french trucks. Not that adventurous? try the legendary ottoman kebab for top notch service, and lots of chilli sauce, 'ma frend'. Say Abdul sent you, if your after a free portion.
- the med by magnolia court has shit service, well slow and exepct to get something other than what you ordered
- Dodgy kebab anyone.
- gallery bistro on east street, the crown hotle, lots of indians, new mediteranean opposite the crown and a few others spotted long east street.
- Long Johns Chip Shop...yum!
- If you can get onto the Royal Signals Camp, the Humph-badur Ghyrka Resturant is excellent! the best Tikka masala ive ever had!
- The best place to eat in Blandford is the Simla Tandoori. It is clearly the best Indian restaurant in the world. Sadik is a great bloke too, and will always stay open that little bit later to serve you.
- Ottoman kebab, gives you the runs, The pizza place is ok, Wings chinese is cack, The one on Salisbury street is better. The best place toeat in Blandford is the Simla Indian restaurant, the best curry ever! I recommned it. Sadik is an excellent host, and doesn't mind you guffing in there!
- There is actually a very good Italian down an alley opposite the corn exchange but before Jeans'.
- There's lots. There's a Pizza place, Kebab shop, three Chinese and two Indians all take away, and you can eat in at some of them. ( recomment the Simal Indian - wonderful curry and I don't think they use cat or dog)
