Skateboarding Spots
  • Blandford skatepark obviously, good or blader, bmx and also skateboarders. Sommerfiled car park lots of curbs and chances to practicse your manuals. Good for begginers/learning to ollie.
  • Kwik Save car park, i think the kerbs are actually made of candle wax by now, or of course theres always a skate park, which has a skatefest every August, just watch out for Saxo's pullin donuts!
  • the sk8 park, local schools like st'leonards and the blandford upper
  • Nursery Road next to Fastrax
  • The best Spots to skate are The skate park (blandford boards and blades) and Kwick shit, good place for flat land, freestyle, and street
  • theres a brand new skate park behind tesco in blandford and also across the blue bridge by safeway. very good for meeting up with friends and usually most of yr9-11 are down there.
  • there is a skate park that has just been built behind the tesocs. yhey had its offical opening in july 2003. its a great place to hang out with mates u watch some blandfords talent strut there stuff
  • The park is open now behind the brewery and tescoes....Metal but with fibreglass on the ramps so it's not slippery. Huge long flat bank and hip, big mini and spine, grind boxes and rials, a wierd little mogul, 2 driveways, andother spine, andother box loads of quarters and a god damn partridge in a a frickin pear tree. Locals are okay too, which makes a change...Watch out if you see a guy trying shuvit late flips then laugh at him, we live miles away and have been to the park twice, but he is always there doing these shuvit late flips all day everyday, tis a funny sight to be sure.......Some damn good skaters up there though it must be said...Check it out it.s easy to find and worth the drive...unless its raining then its a waste of time...
  • The Blandford Skate park is having an opening day July 13th 2003.
  • Well, we finally got a skate park. 15 years we've waited for this (before most of the skaters there were even born!!) and now I should be old enough to know better! Quite a few K's worth of fun behind the brewery / Tesco's. Nice wide mini, 1/4's, grind rails/boxes, youname it, it's there (they didn't give 'em a vert ramp though!!!) Also flood lit at night and there are cameras(?)
  • Quik save carpark is getting old now and they have finished building a skatepark now in the stour meadows, near the brewery. This is a good park for everyone, theres a mini, many jump boxes, flat banks, rails, quarters and two spines.
  • there is a miny ramp and som eother ramps in the big public school, bryanston. if you don't get kicked out there are also some good ledges and more
  • sunrise industrial park got a junk yart full of thing to make ramps and such out of
  • Rumor has it that a skate park will be built soon. But only after a bridge is built? I wouldn't hold your breath it will be a while yet! I think that it is only going to be built to get us away from the moning oap's in the retirement home across from Kwick save carpark.
  • People skate all around, but there aren't any proper places. Kwik Save carpark, Tescos carpark etc.
