Live Music Venues in Bognor Regis, West Sussex*

Live sounds in a garage, pub, park or stadium

You can tell us more about Bognor Regis.

Live Music Venues
  • The Family Tree, The Railway, The Berkley Arms
  • White Horse is the new rox zone. Good bands but down side is the £8.00 entry fee on a Saturday night. Family Tree has good local bands on too, its free to get in and the stage set up looks really good. The railway now has live music, and Cheers is till banging on a Saturday night!
  • The mud club houses the battle of the bands and often at cheers they have bands playing. Although brighton and portsmouth are much better for well known bands.
  • Goo every wednesday at The Mud Club. check out goonight.com for full listings
  • it's best to wait until the rox or bognor live are on (bognors music festivals) they have some wicked bands
  • Sheiks, the Elmer, Cheers, Terminus, Railway, Macklin Bar (college, the Crown and others were all seminal little venues in my musical career. Thanks Dave Turner Harmonica Player - Bad Manners
  • The Rox organisation promotes loads of local gigs including a regular monthly spot in the venue Chichester. To find out what goes on localy try www.rapture.org.uk its a local free events magazine and web site.
  • Check out the live music in the pubs around Bognor, there is a gig on every eving somewhere. Cheers, & the Unicorn for starters.
  • bognor live, they took rox away from us!!!!!
  • Cheers is the pub that has the most live bands, and once a year we used to get Rox, a free music event that took over the Town, was 1 of the highlights until some stupid people in the Town Council messed about with it, and moved it to Fontwell race course, still worth while though
  • There are lots of pubs with live music, check out The Rox and Fontwell In mid August and Bognor live on the sea front at the beginning of August
  • Cheers, live bands friday night and sunday afternoon
  • Mostly the best music in Bognor comes from my CD player in the car but Hotham park can produce some great Ghetto Blaster sounds on a sleepy day.
  • I cant say a lot except, there is cheers that seems to have the same loop of the same dirge going around and around ,lets just say they play it safe oh and there is the steyne know where you can watch good old Diane do a turn ,oh its cringey thinking about it..
  • Watch the Barnham Hotel, in the village of Barnham near Bognor Regis, there is a major music scene kicking off there with lots of regular nites planned over the next few months, check out the House/Garage nites with top local DJ's once a month on the last saterday.
  • The Terminus no longer does bands. Cheers on The Esplanade still has local bands. on Fri/Sun
  • Did you know that brave souls are preparing a musical about Bognor Regis for the Millenium. Yes, it's happening NOW and you can find out more by E mailing tezza@hawthorn48.freeserve.co.uk. Wow, we could be on to a winner ! We'll keep you informed of progress through this page, and through our monthly chat sheet "Expressions" No, no that Royal expression, cheeky !
  • There are two live music venues:- Cheers on Bognor seafront (Fri & Sun) and The Terminus (Sun). Cheers features the ugliest & rudest barmaid in the world - Maria "NoNeck" Gannaway, but The Terminus is ok, & open til 1am.
