Pubs in Bognor Regis, West Sussex*

The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call

You can tell us more about Bognor Regis.

Pubs
  • used to like the hardwicke for a pre club drink ,always remember that creepy manager jon parsons leering at us
  • The Alex has the best beer in town
  • Hatters cheap but ok
  • Been in The Regis - not too bad if a bit chainy...
  • The Prince of Wales in Highfield Road. Just been taken over and they are great. Nice relaxed pub with plenty of atmosphere and away from the town centre and any trouble. Make sure you are over age though as they always check your ID!
  • Unicorn, Hatters, wheatsheaf, Waverley, loads!!!
  • The Hardwicke. I miss you so much!!
  • the bottle bar looks good (i'm a minor so i don't go in bars, cant stand drink) but all bars get very rowdy (thoes chavs again!)
  • I have yet to visit a pub in Bognor that even begins to warrant a mention.
  • Lamb in Pagham when the caravaners are not in there. Price of Wales is a hidden gem
  • everyone seems to wanna go to hatters, its shit!! go to bottle bar on the front its a lot better atmosphere and you can sit outside and watch the sun go down
  • the terminus
  • the QE2 isit?
  • hehehe fresh faced as I are trax2 doesnt let me in if theres a live band (theres bouncers!) bugger it i just buy the alcohol in town and sit outside of trax listening.
  • I am head Doorman at The terminus in Station Road and what a difference the pub is now, not the drug crazed place to be with all pubwatch in. In its place is a nice place to drink with resident DJ Paul on Friday and guest student Dj's on Saturday with 4 pool tables and regular games of killer at weekends with all the locals and visitors a fun time will be had by one and all
  • The Beach House has probalby got the soundest bunch of punters but they could do with dropping the DJ'd and just leaving the Jukebox on, it could also do with a re-fit, but its deffinetly worth of look.
  • Beach House - young persons pub, students, workers - some live music, good food William Hardwick - at least the authorities know where the under-age drinkers are - no, sorry, old age showing The Waiting Room - used to be The Railway/Locomotive Inn until someone tried to shoot a customer - you know, let's go to the pub for a pint and a few shots .... Now new owners, some very nice leather sofas, and 1.5 pint glasses for £3 Can't tell you about the Terminus - or the 'e minus' as its sign said until a short while back as have not been there for years when it the landlady was a foul-mouthed old scottish bike - so we're told. Probably OK. The Hatters = Weatherspoons, for drinkin' types
  • The Southdowns at Felpham, just been done up, food really good (top mixed grill for £5.95)By far the best pub in Bognor.
  • The Old Barn in Felpham. Great for an all day boozy with of course an All Day Breakfast. Its the best!
  • Beach House used to be slightly 'alternative' but there is an annoying dj who ruins the night thru playing loud obscure dance in a pathetic atttempt to make the place more 'happening'. It was great b4-i thought it tried to be pre-club-not rival sheiks-n e way-the dj is a boring twat who used to work at our price
  • Hatters pre-Sheiks, its a tradition!!
  • Hatters for cheap pre club booze or the William Hardwick to meet all the cool locals!
  • PUBS - Bognor Bulldogs are too frightened to enter a pub. What a bunch of tossers!!!
  • All the yobs and Butlins crowd seen to go to the Regis on the sea front.
  • The Steyne down near the sea front, near the Pier, is a great pub. Starting to get really trendy now as under new management. Fab atmostphere and gorgeous gals and guys most nights. Karaoke on Thursday night is a laugh. Nice to sit outside in the summer and often have free food/barbies. Ask for Warwick and/or Jason. Cool dudes.
  • I'm sure you're all aware that the person above who mentioned Gary Linaker and Roger Daltry is talking b******s!
  • The William Hardwick my sister used to work there (biased opinion)
  • hatters, unicorn
  • did you know gary lineker owned the william hardwick also a regular at the unicorn is wayne hemmingway. Roger Daltery owns Bits and Bytes and you can often pop in to see him.
  • HATTERS AND UNICORN ARE ALRIGHT... TO MANY PEOPLE THINKING THEY'RE ALL THAT RUIN GOOD NIGHTS...
  • decent bands and late licence at cheers on the seafront
  • Is The Lamb (town centre) the one in Steyne Street...if so it's smashing although the Elephent and castle was great place once upon a time...it's been razed though...just like my old house
  • William Hardwicke, a mecca for young totty and geezers. As well as those that sadly think they are young!
  • Have you been to the Royal Oak at Lagness recently new people Ken & Linda. Do a great sizzler menu.
  • The late, sadly missed Crown. Musical oasis in 1980s. Thanks Barry.
  • William Hardwick is always full of totty, although beer is fairly expensive. This is true of most pubs in Bognor though.
  • Lion and Ship out west for happy memories. Hatters for cheap pint no atmosphere and Hardwick for tooty and a scrap.
  • Murrel Arms,Barnham Hotel
  • The best pub used to be the Lamb (town centre), with the infamous "Pub Quiz" nights. Don't ask where the landlord found his questions - they were HARD!
  • The Queen Victoria, Aldwick Road, a small yet parochial pub of the sussex origin, great landlord Pete! keep the peace and enjoy your beer in the relaxing surroundings.
  • For Pub-Grub it is difficult to beat the King's Head on the road to Chichester That's correct, for you lot who haven't been here for sometime, that pub that used to be such a scruffy place, has now been done up!
  • Best pub: Hatters, where beer is only a pound a pint.
  • Well, Hatters may cheap but so is the atmosphere. Try drinking in the Naggs Head: the difference is unbelievable.
  • Hatters (good beer prices) and The Regis on the seafront both opened up in 1996 and several pubs now have 1.00am late licences (about time too).
  • I just want to say to everyone reading this that everyone else is horribly wrong: the Hatters Pub is the most awful pub ever and I am now in Aberdeen so I know bad pubs o.k?
  • If you want a pub in the town centre that is not full of a) old dears, or b)teenagers, then forget it; get a taxi, head out to Elmer Sands and go to The Cabin, or go in the other direction and get down The Lamb in Pagham. Good atmosphere, sometimes live music, top home-cooked meals.
