Skateboarding Spots
  • There is a skateboard park opposite The Royal Norfolk
  • Opposite the seafront next to the toilets that are outside the Regis center ,theres a good wall drop
  • Opposite the seafront next to the toilets that are outside the Regis center ,theres a good wall drop
  • Rumours of Indoor Skate Park have come to nothing although plans were well-advanced until Arun Council ignored the opportunity. However, the idea has not gone away.... Anyone got a site? The money's there to do it.
  • st michael ayres school really smooth playground
  • the skateboard park near the pier is quite popular with skaters, and tesco car park at night.
  • bognor skatepark is ok it has a halfpipe, a small funbox and 2 rails but the skaters there are assholes! they don't like anyone to be different from them and god help you if you are only learning, prepare to have the p!$$ taken out of you, people used to skate at the bandstand but that got blocked off and i hear hotham park is a good skate spot, there are some stair sets dotted around town you just need to explore (watch out for the chavs and drunks)
  • 67 Barrack lane
  • BRCC upper ain't 2 bad the wall outside the front is an alright spot (needs waxing) if u live close and can't be arsed 2 go any where else its alright.
  • rainbowsend if u go through the back the bowl in there is supposed 2 be a good sk8ing place.(Watch out 4 the tramps.)
  • This is Bognor, so theres not many places to skate. Hotham parks pretty gd.
  • For the past few months, there's been a lot of talk and campaigning to get an outdoor skate site. There's even a miniramp somewhere in store up north which the local regeneration partnership has paid for - but no one wants to put it "in their back garden". There is a plan for an Indoor Skate Centre in the Town, based in an empty warehouse. Contact fairplay@arunet.co.uk for details of the Project and how you can help. So far the warehouse has been found, a business plan created and £3000 raised - it will be in wood, there will be several types of ramp, and entry will be around £3 for 3 hours, and it will be year round.
  • after they messed up the box (the ramp on the beach) and made it half the size there isnt many good sk8ing spots.
  • Seafront
  • hmmmm.... lots of fun to be had just off the end of the prom
  • its crap in bogna go 2 crawley
  • The Box (Good), Avisford Park (Shit), The 39 Club (Fucking Bollocks), Chichester Multi-Storey Car Park Near The Train Station(Great),
  • TOO MANY FUCKING BLADERS ETC...
  • This is for the chap who said there should be a diving board at the end of the pier...there used to be one...right at the end...before it broke away. My brother Sid Harvey and his friend Ian Grant used to dive off of there regularly...and hope to pick up a few bob from "The Visitors". Quite often a featured "diver" would go through his ropes...it was a featured event.
  • Lots of skaters hang in front of the Royal Norfolk Hotel
  • The Skateboard site on the sea front, where the Esplanade Theatre used to be is now excellent and is very popular.
  • The 39 Club has a mini and a spine ramp. Outside the Regis Centre L shaped brick bank about 3.5 feet high with hip, grindable steel pipe. RSJ Benches. Lit. Safeway's car park has curved painted curbs.
  • I am now 12 years old and go to Bognor Regis Community College. I have spent my life in Bognor so far. My friends and I think that there should be a skating park on our school field. There should also be a diving board off the pier. The old people of Bognor must be some of the grumpiest people on Earth. BUT despite all of this and what other people say it is one of the best places around.
  • The local skaters have wanted a decent site for several years. The agenda at the 39 Club is "control" - the local district council is creating a temporary site on the seafront, hopefully for summer 97 use. Long-term, the sort of board used by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future will probably be a museum piece before there is a proper site. The kids are cool, however, and e.g. skate down the steps of the local outdoor bowls area, and also the seafront bandstand. One councillor reckons the skaters are the most tolerant, non-sexist and open-minded people he's ever met.
