- We used to meet at the public toilets on Stanley rd by the Strand. thats were we used to drink our cider before we went on the rampage to Irlam rd (to meet our boyfriends) we were only about 15 (going on 20) this was around 74/75
- get yourself down the post office on pension day, seen as everyone in bootle is over 60, maybe the pub for some dominoes, but dont let the excitement kill ya.
- Bootle is a tiny village, with one general store/post office, two pubs, one church and one set of public conveniences.
