• Part of my old school Warwick Bolam (on Glovers Lane) is still there except it`s the Netherton Activity Centre now - not a school. The bit that was knocked down was the `2nd site` of Warwick that was previously Bootle Grammar (behind the square). Remember the Boxing club by the Eden Vale?
• I AGREE WILFRIDS SCHOOL IS A HOLE IT SHOULD BE NOCKED DOWN 2 MORROW.

• The Inland Revenue building on Merton Road ... although I think it is now in the process of being demolished. I remember building work starting and then there was a strike which went on for several years. My dad used to call it the biggest white elephant he'd ever seen.

• sullivans, because it is a crap over crowded pub which burnt down recently and is now unfortunately being refurbished.bootle also has the hyper bar on stanley road opposite the strand, and the wild rose ( wetherspoons ) next to the yates wine lodge.

• Warwick Bolam High School. Oops too late, it's already gone.

• Robert's School as the teachers in the 50's treated us like we were worthless to society.
• My old school, Robert's Secondary Modern School. Brings back bad memories of too much discipline and the cold damp winters.
