• the 1's in quiggins r quite kool, for nu-metal ppl and goths, punks, hip hop, u name it but the palace is much better for the dance, trance sorta music, pure hardcore trance,
• Ronny Mac. was a terrific jazz drummer and a good soccer player to boot, and we would either spend our spare time playing 1926/30 jazz music or knocking a ball about down on the local brickfield,which was an old bombed out site.
• I think it's changed names now but it used to be called Soundtrek in the Strand. We used to hang around there all day and talk to the people who worked there.
• don't even bother trying to find any ... best bet is to go into Liverpool city centre. Best vinyl (remember that ?!) shop was "Scene of the Crime" Bluecoat Lane.
• We prefer to make our own records, or music as it's called these days.
• Phase 2 has closed down.
• So where do you go for those esoteric Bill J Kramer collectibles. The nation (and others) waits to be told.
• Phase 2 in the Strand is the place to go for underground records - it has a lot of small labels.
