Hi Does anyone know where I would be able to get photo's of the Bootle Carnival Queen's in the 1950's? Unfortunately I do not have an exact date or even year - My Mum won twice, once when she was 5 or 6 and again in the age 11-14 category. I would be most grateful for any information.

Can anyone help me, we are trying to find a friend who we haven't seen for years and have lost touch with him. His name is George Bowen and last time we saw him in Liverpool he lived with a girl named Carol in Aintree. But before that he lived in Bootle ,his family also lived in Bootle . We think he's around 50 yrs of age but not sure.

Looking for past friends who knew me from Hertford Rd Bootle.. and Air Cadets at the Five Lamps Crosby or Scouts including the youth club at the Church corner of Balliol rd and Stanley rd 1946-1954 I also attended at times a house converted for Dancing instructions Merton Rd or was it Balliol Rd ?
