Bootle Carnival Queen by JOANNE (Member 10270669) on 14-Feb-2012
Hi

Does anyone know where I would be able to get photo's of the Bootle Carnival Queen's in the 1950's? Unfortunately I do not have an exact date or even year - My Mum won twice, once when she was 5 or 6 and again in the age 11-14 category.

I would be most grateful for any information.

not to sure, he left school in 1957, he became a draftsman, lived in watt's lane. I don;t know how old you are, but David would have been 71., but unfortunately he passed away at a very young age of 42. Let me know if you remember him. I do have a photo of The Morris Dancers don't know if that was from St. George of England's.
