The Best Things
- still has a "village" feel although the place has grown alot over the years...well i grew up here, moved away, but chose to come back...it's a nice place to live.
- Keely Jolliffe's baby
- It's pretty quiet, has a lot of that 'old village' charm. Not totally vandalised...yet.
- Getting a four-pack and some chips and going for a walk along the river. All the restaurant to Take-Away. The butchers and 'Corners' newsagents are places where they ask you how you are before asking you what you want. It's strange shops make it quite unique town. Wine Rack is the best part, of course.
- Peace and quiet! Near the country and Maidenhead is a less-than-ten minute journey away, so there are plenty of shops. Switching at Maidenhead allows you to travel to Paddington London. I'd say you could do it in forty-five minutes.
Looking for Bexter the Wye Valley Troll has turned into something of a passtime for many residents. Valerie "Nutty" Tong has set up "Troll Tours" which was particulary popular with American Tourists, but since the dissapearence of American Cathy Carter-Berkbeck, it has lost its pull. In my opinion it's just as well because B/E isn't exactly designed for tourists. BEWARE the Troll likes to eat livers, keep dogs on a lesh at ALL times.
The people. They are actually very nice, apart from some school children that come from High Wycombe - the s***est town in Buckinghamshire.
It's a nice place to live as well, plenty of nice houses if you have alot of money. There is a golf course in nearby Flackwell Heath and an even better one in the not-so-nearby-but-still-nearby, Loudwater.
The sheep can talk when there is a full moon and the cows are liable to jump over it.
- The people - friendly and welcoming
- Quiet life, not much traffic, places 2 walk dog
- The town's many unmade roads.
10p-an-hour parking in the library car park - BE's great secret.
- The constant stream of celebrities walking around The Parade. Scarey Spice's house is only a half-mile down the road in Little Marlow.
