Cheap Food
- Looks like the Spade Oak is being re-furbished and taken over yet again! Will sample the food and atmosphere and update you.
- Several chineses and indians, and the pubs usually do food. There's also a chippie, which isnt half bad.
- (Amendment - Poco Loco is now no longer in the 'strange building' - it's moved to what used to be the Red Lion over the road. Another Bourne pub bites the dust.)
The converted-ambulance kebab van has vanished. No-one knows why.
- SPADE OAK IN THE EARLY NINETIES WAS ROCKING
- Chippy 'Super Plaice' - nice prices, miserable employees.
Kongs Restaurant, nice food. Prices are fair, the service is good.
Indian takeaway - never been there and I don't think anyone else does.
- Loads - best fish and chips are in Bourne End!
- indian and chinese restaurants. these r very good!!!
- Have fun eating Mexican at Poco Loco opposite the Bourne End train station.
Good food and an interesting building!
Bourne End is known for having more eating establishments than it has residents (well, almost!)
so you'll never go hungry there.
