- The station cafe...and thats pretty much it
- That formica-tabled caff in front of Bourne End station is worth a mention as it doesn't serve Thai or sushi or frothy cappuchino. It's nicotine stained walls, hot milky tea in mugs, egg and bacon butties and Radio 1 playing in the background should make Bourne Ends cafe a Site of British Historical and Cultural Importance.
- Nice bakeries but BEWARE! - Asking for a gingerbread man is dangerous. They are gingerbreadpersons. The crab roles are also slightly scarce in crab, as exclaimed by one happy customer, 'I am sick and f***ing tired of getting hardly any crab in my lunch'- it would have been good if the assistant said, 'no need to get crabby sir,' but no such luck.
