Arts, crafts and such
- there is a great crft centre in Blake House Craft Centre, Blake End Braintree cm77 6sh Just off the A120, its a great little site with shop that do craft , fancy dress hire, bags, flowers, hampers and gift baskets, guitar shop, beaticians a restaurant and bar and much more tHe country basket sell fine award winning foods such as pickle/ jams/chutneys and frsh wild game, local meats and cheese contact 01376 340777
- The shop in the museum in Manor Street - Proper Gander in Little Square - Hannays in Bank Street - The Town Hall has art shows
- blake end
- the town hall by tescos its a stonker puts the tate to shame
- there are a few art and craft shops but they're not very good occasionally there are some good craft fairs at the civic centre or Maor House Hotel
