- Freeport
- some great fast food places and a good selection of shops
- Marxmen, formerly Braintree Dimensions. Possible the only organisation that goes out and gives the town something to be proud of.
- I know all the old areas cause I lived here for 17 years!
- Coggeshall rd, london rd Rayne rd, A120 and the A130. thay all leave the town
- Much more for young 'un nowadays: cinema, bowling etc.
- Toymaster Kingdom, 2 Rayne Road...come and buy things!!!
- well, not a lot really,but there must be something about this place, cos i keep leaving, and ending back up in this hole!
knowing that my bloke lives in bracknell, and it's even worse than this place!!
not too far from stanstead airport.....just knowing that u can get a plane out of here is a good thing!
- THERES A BYPASS SO YOU CAN RIGHT PAST
- The fly-Fishing around Neilston is second to none, and extremely reasonably priced. Harelaw Dam EXCELLENT !
- The A120 out.

- nice nearby countryside, bus links out of braintree, freeport, bmx track
- the round abouts that bring in so many motorbikes
all the boy racers who are more than willing to race
- Booze and 'high speed' police chases on our boards
- Braintree has that fine balance between town and country. Whilst in some areas it is undoubtedly built up, just a few miuntes walk and you find yourself surrounded by fieids, footpaths and rivers.
