You can tell us more about Braintree.

Cinemas
  • cineword in free port A.K.A Chavport
  • Cineworld at Freeport - 12 screens (I think)
  • an over priced cinema
  • Cineworld at Freeport - bit expensive though!
  • A new one has opened! My wife and mum watched 'pirates of the carribean' there!
  • at last we've got one, but its at freeport, nothing in town.
  • New Cinema is pretty impressive, for Braintree. Two relatively good sized screens and the rest are smaller although comfortable. Don't forget there's also the Bowling next door ... if you like that sort of thing!
  • CINEWORLD!, opened Oct 2002, 12 screens, its wkd!
  • 12 SCREEN CINEMA AT FREEPORT OPENED IN MARCH 2003.
  • Rejoice! After Wetherspoons turned the old cinema in an extremely downmarket pub, the bastions of local consumerism Freeport.plc have decided to expand their out-of-town shopping village to include a cinema. Once again the greasy inhabiants of this wonderful town can experience Hollywood's nonsense on the big screen, rather than trooping down to Steve's Videos to rent a worn-out dusty VHS copy of The Never Ending Story or Police Academy.
  • not got one yet.....apparently they're building one up freeport...........nice?
  • Not since the '80s. The cinema was converted to a pub!
  • STILL WAITING
  • They're building one now!
  • um no! but a nice warner brothers cinema has opened in Newcastle nearby, better than the flee pit Odeon in Stoke
  • they r building 1 I think! probably cosT A bomb to get in so I would avoid that one, when it gets built
  • give us a couple of years to catch up with the 20th century
  • We don't have a cinema yet
  • Welll, there is a pretty damn great Lesiure Centre, actually there are a few, but Braintree Lesiure Centre is the best, there's also a little swimming pool. Halstead, about 15 minutes down the road, can offer you a quaint little Cinema, and the larger towns, about 30 minutes drive away, such as Chelmsford and Colchester, provide everything you'd want really, Swimming, Cinema, Bowling, Ice Skating, Rollerworld, Quasar...
  • cinamars in braintree ha ha ha ha. Ten pin bowling ha ha ha ha all there is is the sportsman if you want a game of snooker THIS TOWN IS VERY VERY VERY BORING!!!!!!!!!!!
