• Deon the tripper. if u see a big pakistan man with a afro plodding round.skag head dont be scared he is harmless. this man jst wants to pester u 4 a bit of smoke or a beer then he will plod off again. There are many stories as to why this man does this but the one that has the most relevance gos like this. deon was round his flat with some m8s and they were all acid dealers at the time. Now deon had a A4 sheet of the stuff anyway. So they hear a knock o the door and it turns out it is the police so they all get rid off there stash and deon decides hes going to eat his and so he ate a A4 sheet of acid then his m8's locked him in a cupboard 4 about 3 hours while the old bill where there. hes was the sneeked out while the police left for a while and he was crammed in2 a car boot then has they sped away the driver was smashed in2 at the rear and deon has been head fuked ever since.

• Theres that bloke whos always out of his skull on cheap cider out side tescos singing or moaning about something. I saw him asleep outside the chinese once. Made me chuckle. And yes theres Dion the affro'd stoner. If Woody is the same person i'm thinking of i'm sure hes called Wonky. He lives up at hillside gardens and rides all manner of push bikes round town and has been known to casually help out the dustmen. Theres quite a few weird people in braintree who will just come up and speak to you about nothing in particular. But thats what makes braintree slightly less dull than it otherwise would be.

• There was a crazed man once walking around town with large christian-y boards, and another VERY crazed clown man walking around unsafely on stilts.
• crap selection usually in george yard, or in bank street... usually some pan pipes malarky, or a chinese bloke making your name out of wire for £2
• my nephew is an excellent all round musician and has busked many times in George Yard - earned a packet (...for Braintree!) and gave half to local charity.....but he won't get the recognition - it's just the Kebab dives, East-Enders and reprobates who get that!
