Skateboarding Spots
  • Braintree skate park, some parts of braintee colledge(but be careful of the miserable cunt of a care taker), In some cases ppl do have awsome backgardens to tare it up in.
  • Forget skateboarding - blading is for me. It's got to be the skatepark to start with - but watch out for the flying bottles and other missiles thrown by the chavs who hang around there!! Street skating in Braintree is definitely hit-and-run, you get five or ten minutes at most and then some old fart or security comes along and chases you away - people in Braintree don't like kids. Outside my house is the best place - really good kerb and a grind rail - but I'm not telling you where I live!
  • The fountain near the church, opposite Bill's Tackle. There's a 6 (maybe 7) set on the ground floor of George Yard multi storey car park, although it leads into a road. 4 set outside the library. There's a car park near the train station with a ledge.
  • the teeeny skatepark
  • skate park bocking end & freeport retail park.
  • Braintree now has a skatepark. It is on a field called weavers park between sainsburys/police station and the council offices. 1 good sized mini. Driveway with rail and a jumpbox side by side. either side of these boxes are a combination of two quarter pipes(one large the other small) with a flatbank in the middle. there is also a double rail and grind box, and a tiny quarterpipe and spine run. All ramps made of metal, and plenty of seating around park. leisure centre/tabor high school has a small but very long waxed curb in the carpark (about 12 blocks). Benches and a five set with plenty of run up and landing space. tesco's curb is still demolished. There is a loading bay round the back of iceland in george yard, tiled flooring but good height, also 6 set there with plenty of run up and landing space but rough tiled run up.
  • Yes the curb has gone but a skate park is now provided by the councel. right by the police station drive........
  • Braintree Skatepark in weavers park near the registry office. Weavers Industrial Park near where Malones used to be, near the train station is a good spot for street. For flatland try Freeport car park and area by the side exit.
  • braintree now has a good park its full of gromets with bmxs so if u are burly u can push these nusances out of the way for a good session.
  • Braintree now has a skatepark. Its near the town centre in a newly created park (dont know its name) in the grounds of an old school (now flats)off Coggeshall Road. I dont use it but it always seems to be very busy.
  • Skatepark openin soon down what i think is called Weavers Park!
  • NEW SKATEBOARD PARK IN BRAINTREE OPENING.
  • the kerb out tesco's... lol
  • by h20 next to the church
  • What's left of tesco's, The leisure centre, the fountain in town and george yard are the only good places.
  • the car par outside tescos
