- What was the Elm Tree is now the Corner Bistro. New ownership has tastefully lifted out of the rut it was in, now serves excellent food, lovely staff, good atmosphere, open days and some evenings.
There is also a new Thai restaurant on the Saunton Road. Supposed to be pretty good.
- The Grinde = Shite coffee shop. Trying to be "Trendy" and also doubles up as a crap surf clothes shop. Fine if you like Crap Clothes that smell of cheap coffee. And abousulte MUST for any (aspiring) local posers.
Cross tree - Shit. Shitty interior and shitty food.
- Chaplins used to be good for Breakfasts. I think that they have moved into bigger premises. Burger place by Zebra Crossing
