Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition. I have a small 'medallion' that has the inscription: Brentford S.F.A. St. George's Champions 1929-30 - F. Haywood. On the other side is an enamel shield, white with red cross. There are a few other marks but too small to read. Has anybody any idea who might have been given this kind of object, probably worn on a watch chain or similar, and who 'F. Haywood' was please?
