• Good schools, lovely houses and open spaces to stretch your legs should you feel so inclined. Most of the people are friendly, apart from the uber trendy commuter types who don't talk to anyone... just drive around in 4x4's.

• The Castle- fantastic pub. The only other place to go in Brentwood besides the Hermit!
• Brentwood Theatre. A huge variety of brilliant shows: amateur and professional.
• Hah!
• Don Tramp, Sams, Litten Tree, The cheekies (young girls who say they are older than they really are), Star kebab and burgery.
• Total Tolelrance of Class A in W1! Apparently!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• The Castle used to be the business. The best gig venue in Essex. Haven't been there for about 10 years though. I've heard it's gone a bit wet.
• I lived in Brentwood (Hutton) until for 10 years and can categorically say that the only good thing about the whole Goddamned place is the road out of there!!!!!
• Road links A12 and M25.
• Its not London, drinks are cheaper than London, schools are good, can walk the streets pretty safely at night with 3 bottles of wine in your belly (god this sounds like Monty Python!) and some of the loveliest people I know live here.
• The castle (playin pool) and goin to Sainsburys to spy on the skaters!
• Brentwood has been described as boaring... good, it has the lowest crime rate in the South East and unemployment is soo low the unemployment office was moved to Romford.
• If u lose your wallet someone will hunt you down to give it back to you
• The adidas London Leopards, soon to be known as The adidas Leopards because they are officially based in Brentwood now. For those who don't know them they are a Professional basketball team and can be seen regularly on Sky sports on a Saturday Night as they play in the British Basketball League
• It's in Essex and it's only 15 minutes away from Romford, Chelmsford and Lakeside!
• The White Hart - on a Friday night, and at lunch times - gorgeous food
• Lots of people to hang about with, and places to go to!
• Everyone is so easy to talk to and polite and I can't think of anywhere with more friendlier strangers. The main sports and leisure complex, the Brentwood Centre, is also a really good aspect of Brentwood life.
• Some of the people! Near to M25, so you can escape! Lots of nice biking roads about (just mind the tractors, and the old bill!)
• The people!
