  • Alma Arms at Navestock just outside of Brentwood serves the best steak pie ever!
  • Star takeaway (Shenfield) - recently was fined £10k for a cockroach kebab. The health inspectors actually found 'an infestation' Mmmmmmmmm...............tasty

  • loadz, pizza hut mcdonalds, burgerking, kfc, also the posh places
  • EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE FROM MCDONALDS TO CAFE UNO AND EVERTHING IN BETWEEN (EXCEPT A PIE AND MASH SHOP ,,, WHICH WOULD BE NICE)
  • The Imperial Peking behind the High Street is a great, if slightly expensive, Chinese and there are a couple of good Indian Restaurants at the bottom of Warley Hill near the Station.
  • The Greyhound Pub does great pub lunches!
  • Noel & Gill's Goan delights have now opened up a new branch near to the station. The Billericay branch was closed down following a visit from the health inspectors it is said. Good news for B'wood me thinks !
  • Ongar road chippie are friendly and do good grub same as star kebab opposite and kebab shop down Kings road.Artichokes great all you can eat.Nadine
  • The sandwich place down the arcade (more fondly known as Stav's) or Bagels for a salad box!!

  • Noel & Gill's Goan Delights. New branch of that popular Indian takeaway now opened near railway station. The Billericay branch has been hugely succesful over the years !

  • Brentwood sucks for food -- the restaurants are all chain efforts or complete rubbish (with the notable exception of the Juboraj on Warley Hill which consistently turns out a more than adequate curry and which is consequently constantly full). Why cannot someone open a decent restaurant??? Jamie Oliver is an Essex boy .....
  • Every fast food joint that exist except 'Favourite Chicken'
  • McDonalds. watch out for the little twats with puffer jackets causing carnage. They will have it out with u. Also STAR TAKEAWAY where u can get the best kebab in england and its got burger sauce.
  • MacDonalds - Gourmet as you like!!!
  • The White Hart on the High Street has new owners, private ones and the menu has changed. The well known "Chef Dave" is in his element with all the Specials he can now create. Try it!!!!!!!!!!!
  • the best indian is the shenfeld tandoori in shenfield highstrret, they have a restaurant and a seperate take awa place by the station. i recommend highly.
  • BAGELS AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!! One at the start of ingrave road(high street side) one far end of high street(macky dees side). Also try the chippy on ongar road
  • New Pasta and Pizza restaurant opening in Crown Street (Use to be Swints/Gallery)
  • Good old Shenny Tandoori - big "Bo Selecta" to Manik in the Takeaway & also "Oh Yes" in the Kebab Shop!
  • There are numerous fast food joints, KFC, NcDonalds, Burger King etc and other such as the ifsh andchip shop, kebab places and the Bakers Oven!
  • Schorr shopping centre Black Adder official restraunt
  • Star burger (Shenfield)
  • The petrol station is the main place to buy hot snacks. If you want anything they haven't got, then go home.
  • Cafe Rouge, a great Italian place opposite The White Hart, Pizza Hut, Pizza Express, Cafe Uno - quite a few places really.
  • McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominoes Pizza, Pizza Express, Chinese, Indians, and little posh (expensive) eateries!
  • Loads of restaurants opening up, Cafe Uno, Cafe Rouge, Pizza Hut, Pizza Express. The usual McDonalds, Burger King, KFC etc, etc....
