• Pie & Mash comes to Brentwood at last.... little place down the side of the high street arcade... superb when it's raining and you fancy a cuppa.
• Brentwood has arrived on the cafe society scene ... we're finally getting a Starbucks! (December 2003)
• Slug and Lettuce, Cafe Rouge
• MILLIONS OF THEM. TOO MANY TO LIST BUT NONE ARE VERY SPECIAL.
• Cafe Rouge - if you like yer food microwaved this is the place for you! The Chat Noir - how can you call somewhere the black pussy - you tell me!!!
• Hmmm Looking at some previous entries everyone was waiting with baited breath at the Long long long awaited opening of the Cyber Cafe.... Guess what? it's now a pub called the Slug and Lettuce.
• Why can't we have pavement cafes? In the summer it would be great!
• Not the same since the Bakers Oven and Martins were shut. You could always guarantee a seat in there for about 3 hours and go boy spotting whilst trying out your new make-up purchases (nothing like a bit of Twilight Teaser on the back of the wrist!)
• Cafe Rouge and Caffe Uno are the main two for when you are feeling like a capuccino and being intellectual!
