You can tell us more about Bridgend.
Cinemas
- Cinema is too far away, none in the town centre :(
- Orange Wednesdays at Odeon
- Odeon in Bridgend is crap, it's a must to travel further afield for comfort and a much more amazing cinema experience.
- Bridgend used to have 3 cinemas, the Odeon, another one and one we used to call the fleapit, as you would probably come out scratching!
- At McArthur Glen there is a 9 screen Odeon. only a couple of miles from the town centre.
- Odeon Bridgend its gotta b!!Or if its a v special occasion da one in Cdiff ny evolution
- Odeon is crap. I go to the apollo down aberavon! Way better
- Only the Odean at the Pines which is both rubbish and a rip off
- The Odean on the Pines
- Odeon rules for films. Nearby, in walking distance if you need to, about 45 mins from my house. All the latest films, a McDonald's, and shops around as well. And a Pizza Hut (Pepperoni all the way). My only problem with the Odeon is that I applied for a job, and they rejected me, the gits.
- The Odeon up the pines - cheaper than anywhere else
- The odeon is the only local cinema. One of its ex managers told me himself that he thought the seats were too small and un comfortable, said he drives to cardiff UCI. The place is over priced for what you get, 5 squid 50 for a crappy seat!
- Go to Cardiff. Bridgend Odeon has 8 screens most of which are committed to the cash cow, trashy money spinners e.g one Christmas, not so very long ago, 4 were Lord of the Rings and 3 were Harry Potter.
- Odean at the Pines
- Odeon 9-screen up the pines.
- Odeon at the pines.... reasonably cheap compared to Cardiff but rip you off on drinks and stuff
- Odeon is a ripoff
- There's the Odeon up by the McArthur Glen doo dah. Seems ok.
- one odean, although i still try and relive the years gone by and try to get into the ritz on a friday night
- Odeon up the pines is what you expect. Bland unispired, very Brigend.
- Odeon, McCarthur Glen
- bowlers
- the odeon! nothing to scream and dance about. go to cardiff bay or the show case. the odeon is not the place for a first date.
- The Odeon, very nice, part of a huge corporate chain.
- www.skin-n-ink.com is the place to go for tattoos and piercings in Wales, especially Bridgend as it's the only one IN Bridgend. Go and have some body art done and visit the web site... Please, this is my no-cost marketing strategy for the Web site... Have a quick look...
- Odeon, Bridgend screen 3, back row where the staff enjoy their breaks and get to know eachother more!
- There is only one real one`. Lee Hydes hang out
- Very impressed with the cinema at the outlet . And that fit blonde bird makes the visit all worth while .
- The odeon cinema is good!I would recomend paying the x tra 50p 2 sit in the luxury seats!!Although it doesn't look much bigger than the standard seats, believe me , they are!!
- THe one about five miles outside the town center in the piles, I mean pines.
- it is small!!!!! go to cardiff bay!!!!!!!!
- Odeon bridgend (in pines) is the best cinema ever!!!!
- When my arse comes out of the Bridgend Odeon with the rest of my body,it feels like its been injected with general anasthetic and booted several times!!!GET SOME COMFY SEATS!!!!
- One.
- Cinemas are second class establishments - Bingo rules!!
- Bridgend's Odeon, mainly because edward jackson works at the Macdonalds in the food court below it. Go check him out.
- Good cinema now - quite comfortable with great icecream.
Strange choice of films there sometimes though - definitely aiming at the school holidays market.
- The new Cinema that openned up the Pines isnt bad. Worth going there to see Kryten look-a-like Spicer, though.
- OK yes we have, and fortunately I live in walking distance, though I think the previous comment that it was cheap, obviousley came from a person with slightly more disposal income than I have, FRANKLY at £4+ I'd rather wait until it came out on video.
- A very good 9 screen cinema opened finally in Bridgend. Digital with Dolby surrond sound. Quite a cheap cinema as well with a film costing adults £4.10.
- A new Odeon multiplex opened on November 13th 1998 with celebrity guests including Jenny Powell from Wheel Of Fortune, and 40% of Boyzone in Mikey and the other one that's not Ronan or Shane.
- Odeon Multimedia Cinema, Parc, Bridgend (just off J36 of the M4)
