Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • TEMPTATIONS COFFEE AND TEA HOUSE ,NOLTON STREET ,WHAT A LOVELY COFFEE SHOP,GREAT COFFEE AND THE HOME MADE CHIPS ARE THE BEST.
  • Ty Cofi has to b the best
  • Got to be Subway
  • AROMA IS THE BEST,NOW EXTENDED AND QUITE CLASSY.
  • Crumbs Baguette Shop in Pencoed is very impressive. Worth a drive over - not your average cafe.
  • solid rock has been portrayed as a christian only cafe this is not the case it is open mon-fri 12-2.30 and 7-10 friday evenings although it is run by christians you do not have to be one to go there, there are ps2's, xbox, pool darts and computers to use there is a selection of food and drinks so pop in and ahve a look for yourselfs
  • The best ever cafe/takeaway in Bridgend is sadly no longer with us. It is now a Taxi office...Sob! No really, reading the list of cafes and takeaways in Bridgend brought back memories of this fine establishment - I am a former employee so I know how great this place was. It may have lost some of its great reputation and fab atmosphere when it was sold to another company, but before that, it was one of the finest places in Bridgend, even South Wales!! People used to travel miles for our fish!! As well as great food, Staff were always pleasant, and you would never find a better person to work for than our boss (before the takeover). It was a pleasure to go to work, like and extended family in a way! Like they say, all good things come to an end, but i'll never forget that place, "The PitStop". By the way, the thing about "Ty Coffi" being owned by Sidoli made me chuckle just a little! Hehe!! Have they sold it to Sidoli now? I don't live in the area any longer, but new goss is always welcome!!
  • In The town Centre theres 2 Decent cafes in the indoor market in the Rhiw. also The Il Panini Coffee Shop in Dunraven Place. Also at McArthur Glen theres a Costa Coffee and a Sidoli's.
  • Costa in da pines
  • no coffee shops need to go to my mates house hes got a nice selection of greenery
  • Few greasy spoons around and about, Maxwells on wyndham street is a nice cafe, cheap and cheerful and you can smoke in there. ?Theres a classy looking place opened up where the Ranch used to be.looks like a cafebar(in bridgend????)
  • this aint amsterdam is it.....
  • got to be the cosy cafe and there all day breakfast
  • No one under 65 uses cafes, locals prefer alcohol
  • The sandwich bar, unpretentious and oldie worldy, lovely.
  • A DISTINCT lack of, unless you want to enter ammonia tinged cafes where the senior citizens 'chill'. All we ask for is ONE decent coffee shop!
  • I used to be at the Solid Rock in Nolton St. When I was there, there would have at least fifty people in of an evening and on several occaisions it was up in the high nineties. Sorry if that's the way it is now, but it wasn't like that before.
  • WHAT IS IT WITH GINNY'S TEA ROOM IN BRIDGEND . WHY IS IT WHEN YOU GO IN THERE THEY ACT LIKE YOU SHOULD BE GREATFUL THEY LET YOU IN THROUGH THE DOOR !!!!!
  • Il Panino is nice
  • go to bar tunisia in cardiff bay and ask for a shisha in apple flavor rel nice!!!!!!
  • il paninio....lovely place to go and also that new one on caroline street
  • Ginny's - good food every time, excellent service every time and the only cafe where the staff regularly insult their customers. By the way be prepared to add up your own bill - it saves Sandra having to use her toes
  • It has to be Costas in the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. They serve the best coffee ever - bollocks to the rest of them. Plus the baristas are cute.
  • Valley Break Cafe, its the Shit House. If you want shit food and an upset stomache the next day, visit the valley break in commercial street. The owner is Mark Clare, fair play he tries to be nice but still nobody likes him. For a keebab hangover the next day, or a stale pizza or a raw cheese burger call into the "Valley Break". So many people have had upset stomaches from his food they even decide to throw paint over his windows and cars. But he is so thick he wonders why they do it. The reason being is that he's no welcom in the valley. And, if you dont by your food there, he'll blame people like Alyn for robbing his cafe, when really us and the police know it was an insurance job. Unluck Mark. His food cant be very good down in Port Talbot either, as two of his shops have been vandalised down there. I also beleive that he has again opened another shop whilst driving his £100,000 car, his puegot 406 coupe. Mark, just face it you're no good for the food industry, stop poisoning people. EVERYBODY IN OGMORE VALE BUY FROM TONYS FISHBAR - Nice food, NICE STAFF!!
  • CUP AND SAUCER GREAT CUPPER
  • in Brigend i don't think so. About as cosmopolitan as a skid mark.
  • Ferraris, Costa's, Sidoli's, Madisons.
  • Bridges Brasserie the chef is Scott Carey and he is the best
  • Extremely limited in the town centre. There's the place that used to be called Ferarri's but the clientel are usually knocking on heaven's door.
  • www.skin-n-ink.com is the place to go for tattoos and piercings in Wales, especially Bridgend as it's the only one IN Bridgend. Go and have some body art done and visit the web site... Please, this is my no-cost marketing strategy for the Web site... Have a quick look...
  • For the BEST service you must try "TY COFFI" David & Andria will warmly welcome you to their Cafe. No Smoking
  • Oh Latte`
  • ty coffi (a thing that belongs to sidolis icecream!)
  • Ginnys Tearoom in Nolton Arcade .......the best cuppa in town and great food.
  • I BELEIVE THERE IS ONE AT THE BOTTOM SITE OF THE VILLAGE BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE NOW.
  • Not the solid rock cafe unless your are christian
  • The Solid Rock cafe is a bit of a weary joint to hang around in. When s frind of mine asked "Has it ever been packed in here?" the member of staff replied (quote) "One time right, we had 15 people in here ALL AT ONCE it was mad!!!" Urrrrhh! Okay!!!
  • Good old Ogmore Vale.... yum yum
  • Ogmore Vale Bakery is the pits. Take a look at the kitchen on your way past and watch the rats run along the surfaces.
