- The legendary Brooks Restaurant. The even more legendary Ritz Ballroom - catch it while you still can so you can boast to your grandchildren how you were there before the great crime against humanity was perpetrated in its demolition for yet more 1 bed chicken coops
- The fish & chip retaraunts, tescos and wilkinsons.
- nice people, nice pubs, close to everywhere else, 24hr tescos, carr green school fields, rastrick cricket club.
- dont make me laff
- Amazingly steep carpark behind the bus station, the games shop that used to be in the inside market (now round the corner from Famous Army Stores)
- free on street parking and also one car park is free!?!
quite good for gifts not a lot of empty shops. flat and close together
