- I Have lived in Bournemouth now for over twenty years, But i still remember fondly many of the brilliant clubs and community centres that our Band used to play such as Patchway Labour club Southdown Labour Club plus many many more, We were called SHADES OF GREEN Our lead singer was a young lady called Carol Ryall on the keyboard was Mike Bishton on bass was Chris Fisher on drums was Steve Buckland and on lead guitar was myself Philip Murphy, We used to play in the centre of the pitch before the matches at the Bristol city football club I wonder if anyone remembers us.
- The window displays in the hairdressers opposite the bus shelters - they're very artistic and ace.
All the old ladies in St. George seem to wear red coats - check next time you drive through.
