I REMEMBER KINGSTON WELL. DURING MY YEARS THERE HE WAS A CONSTANT IRRITANT TO ALL THE BOYS. HE ARRIVED THERE WHEN HE WAS 8 YRS OLD.     hi im andy parker dont know if anybody will remember me.i was in the bsbh and left there in 82.i was in there for about 7 years.the last part of kingstons reign and then when mr and mrs johns took over.i remember russ middleton,dean gray,bruce dyer,neil thorpe and chris smith.a few of the other names ring bells that were younger.i also remember lloyd jacob and brother stuart and also ian wishart

    Hi I have had an E/M from Neil I was in the home in 1945 I have looked at the photo's on line. None of myself. I have done the coak run and sat in the laundry peeling spuds. I can't remember the Capt that was at the home when I first went in. But Capt STAGG was there when I left. I have been back a lot since I left I was told that one of the boys that was there the same time I was became in charge... more >>

    My information was that the assistant and/or his wife 'lost' the information. There was a lot of CSA going on between 1967 and 1972 which was about to be investigated. A lot of it was hushed up to protect... the guilty.

    Hi Steve, just found this site and read your comments, I still go down to Brixham 5-6 times a year. I was down this weekend,hence had a look to see if any info was on the net about the home.
    Sorry that Kingston left you with bad memory's, but both him and the Chicken's have past over too the other side. Hope that makes you feel a little better.

    Yes 27,that was my number, do you have any contact with any of the other lads.
    I know Deano & Russell are still local to Brixham and Neil lives acoss the water from me in Portsmouth.
    If you can remember my brother's that were in the home,Paul died in 78, Ian is in Australia, and Sean lives down the road from me.
