If you're around, be sure to check these things out
You can tell us more about Bromborough.
The Best Things
- Its so friendly in Bromborough.
- Barrymore Way just off Allport Road and Dibbinsdale Road, this road unites so many people as everyone in Bromborough knows someone, or has lived on it themselves. Absolute class!
- 'Nick Knocks', and other misdemeanors down Brookhurst!
- The best 'things' are the memories of childhood. Of a young Kevin Crowe climbing the trees in Brotherton Park while his dad looked on. Ta
- The British Legion, in the village is a great place to go. The staff are great always smiling and joking like Tina. And the beer is cheap
- the doug
- the village because ther is always someone you know when shopping
- Brombourgh is one of the nicest places on the Wirral.
Semi-rural, lots of wooded areas and parks.
Convenient for almost anywhere, close to junctions 4 and 5 of M53 and the A41.
Great views from the Retail Park of Liverpool, especially the Anglican Cathedral.
The Wirral International Business Park
- the ritzy!!!!!!it says it all
- all the moshers and skaters and goths and other open-minded people. luckily they seem to multiplying by the second
- I have to agree with most people who have submitted stuff about Bromborough and Eastham. Eventhough I am not a native, I would not want to live anywhere else. People here are great, we have got all the shops and entertainment that we want, and great chippies. My favourite on the moment is in Eastham, Mike's, (I think that is what it is called) by thew shops and the library. Big portions, very fast and taste is great!!
- Raby Mere, the woods, ice creams at eastham ferry, jobe's steps at eastham ferry
- Brotherton Park is lovely and timeless! Been since I was a kid and still love it.
multiplex cinema in a small village can't be bad.
Good transport links but A41 is a nightmare at the lights by the complex.
friendly locals in Brom Village.
Great Italian Deli in the precinct.
- Low crime and nice, decent, honest people.
The nicest areas of Wirral are in Bromborough/Eastham: Brookhurst, Dibbinsdale, Plymyard, Raby Mere.
Lots to do and yet you are within the Green Belt.
- it used to be the swings in the park(for those who know how to do 'bar to bar' you wont find this realy sad) now its been rebuilt and its not half as good
- People in Bromborough are very friendly. I´m from Germany and lived in Bromborough for 6 weeks in 2001. It happend that i couldnt find the way home and I was lost somewhere in Bromborough. I asked a woman to explain how to get home but she offered to give me a lift with her car. THANK U VERY MUCH!
- The Ritzy, the 'not in town, not in the country' element. The people, very friendly, except in a place called the North End.
- When Stanhope House was the old Bromborough Library. Why oh whty did the council sell it into private ownership?
- Not living there anymore.
- Bromborough and surrounding areas are generally nice. If your looking for a nice place to live, go for: Dibbinsdale, Brookhurst Avenue areas, Poulton-Royd Drive, Raby Mere and Marfords Avenue. These are the nicest, quietest private housing areas. Bromborough is so convenient for everywhere too be it train or motorway travel.
- Bargain Booze by Bromborough Rake station. The best service for miles around...
- Leaving as soon as possible never to return.
- It's not a bad town. It's relatively safe, and quiet - with only a few scallies.
It's close to Chester and Liverpool and there's quite a lot of nice countryside in the Wirral.
- The shrine devoted to 'The TeenBeat' in the woods down the lane by the
babbling brook just across from the tree house.
- Nice Area, quiet and residential means that its a safe place to live. The station has trains to Liverpool and Chester are every 15 mins virtually. Countryside and Parks not too far away
- My wife is from bromborough and i love it
- Working at the Louisiana, you get everywhere and everything for free on the estate.
- The Leisure Park is good really. Considering it has a six screen Odeon, Bowling Alley, two clubs, two bars, eateries, huge supermarkets and stores, plus McDonalds, Boots and Bingo - it's good for Bromborough - oh and it has a car wash. Alan Paul the hairdressers used to have their HQ here until they went under. There's a waterfall too (albeit manmade).
- You can get to the Pool in 20 mins, Chester in 25 mins, North Wales is visible from the coastline - there's some really nice countryside with farms and the like, watersurfing and boating in West Kirby, and is really handy to get to from just about everywhere. It's billed as the Leisure Peninsula - and it really is a nice place to live.
